LOLS PhD topics can be funded by two FCT Doctoral Programs:

• DAEPHYS (Doctorate in Applied and Engineering Physics) program
• PhD:SPACE (Doctoral Network in Space Sciences) program

Interested PhD students are invited to be aware of the critical dates to submit applications in these programs and contact possible advisers to fine tune preliminary PhD Work Programs.

Students are also advised to follow FCT planning for PhD grants.

Students with PhD grants from these doctoral programs may receive a 3rd cycle degree in Physical Engineering or in Astronomy & Astrophysics.
